About me

My name is Natasha Richner and I am currently a Project Management Associate with Rubric Europe, a translation and localization company based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Previous to my current role, I graduated from the University of Edinburgh with an International and European Politics MSc, but my international politics journey began at the University of Florida where  I graduated Cum Laude in International Studies with a focus on Europe in December 2017. I finished with two minors in French and Francophone Studies and Italian Studies and completed the International Scholars and Peace Corps Prep Programs. I spent Fall of 2016 studying in Rome, Italy and gaining fluency in the Italian language. It solidified my passions for traveling, language learning, and it clarified my career paths and goals.

I was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico and moved to Central Florida when I was 9 years old. In my short life, I have traveled across the United States and to over twenty countries in four continents. However, I want to continue exploring the world and all it offers, especially in languages. Aside from my two native languages, I have become fluent in French and Italian. I am currently learning Arabic and hope to acquaint myself with at least one more language in the following years. I believe that language connects people worldwide and enriches one's life.

Through studying International Studies at the University of Florida, I have become increasingly motivated to pursue a career at a major international organization such as the European Union. I believe that cooperation between nations is critical and I hope to help facilitate international cooperation efforts in the future, either as a project manager or in other fields. I am also interested in humanitarian assistance and would love to work in any organization that aims to provide aid in times of crisis.
